by Supporting The Arthritis Society!
On Sunday, June 4, 2017, Team "Ann's Light" is walking in memory of Ann Kampmeier Qualman (1940-2007) who, having been struck with severe rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 33, went on to become a pioneering arthritis patient organiser and advocate in Canada.
The deeper purpose of our honouring Ann's years of volunteering, through this Walk to Fight Arthritis, is of course, to help find a cure for this often debilitating disease and to support the over 4.6 millions of Canadians who live with arthritis, so as to improve their quality of life.
With a donation to any of our team members in support of the Arthritis Society, you are making a difference:
You are helping researchers search for improved treatments,
you are helping to better educate health-care professionals about arthritis, and
you are helping to provide tools and ressources to Canadians living with this chronic illness.
Together, we can reach and hopefully even exceed our fundraising goal for this cause that touches so many.
So thank you so much for your support. It means a lot to us, and we know Ann would be so pleased to know that peole continue to care!
