I am participating in the Walk for Arthritis again this year, in the hopes that treatments for both osteoarthritis and inflammatory will improve. Too many people don't get diagnosed quickly. Once they know what type of arthritis they have, it's often very difficult to find the best and most effective care.
I'm hoping that research done by The Arthritis Society will make a difference. The services offered by the Arthritis Society through wonderful staff makes a difference to people with arthritis - ideally research will help Canadians who don't yet have arthritis
Today, more than 6 million Canadians are affected by arthritis. These numbers are only going to increase. By 2035, 1 in 4 Canadians will have arthritis.
As the prevalence of arthritis increases, so does the demand for investment into cutting-edge research, proactive advocacy and innovative solutions that will deliver better health outcomes for people affected by arthritis.
Please join me in supporting this important cause.
